Wherever you find good music, Jack is almost sure to show up. Our tie to music goes all the way back to Mr. Jack himself. He knew that music, like good whiskey, had a way of bringing people together. So in 1892 he outfitted a few folk here in Lynchburg with instruments from a mail-order company. The Silker Cornet Band played for more than 20 years promoting Mr. Jack’s whiskey. Today, for a new generation for musicians, Jack Daniel’s continue to be the spirit behind the music.
