What sets this spirit apart is the accelerated maturation brought on by India’s warmer climate. Unlike traditional whisky-producing regions, the intense heat and humidity of India lead to greater interaction between spirit and wood, deepening the complexity of flavor. Over the course of 11 years, this whisky has developed a bold character far beyond its age.
Moreover, India’s high angel’s share—often exceeding 10–12% per year—means that a significant volume of spirit evaporates during maturation. This natural process concentrates the remaining liquid, resulting in a richer, more robust whisky.
